The United States Karate Alliance and it’s appointed officials meet each year at the National Championships to discuss all important topics within the Alliance organization.
They discuss rule proposals,upcoming tournament dates in each state, and make changes that need to be made while addressing all other concerns.
The Alliance appreciates input from it’s school owners, members and supporters to help improve this great organization each and every year!
We have specific meetings set for different organizers to get together and discuss current issues and topics. If you have any concerns that you would like to be addressed please attend the appropriate meetings and voice your opinions. Together we will continue to help make United States Karate Alliance events enjoyable, fun, safe and fair for all of it’s competitors.

Friday, April 3rd
9:30 am – 11 am: Executive Board Meeting
11 am – 12 pm : General Assembly meeting
All USKA members (including family members of minors), officials and dignitaries are invited to attend this discussion on proposed alliance rule changes. We welcome you to attend the General assembly meeting to voice your opinions and concerns.(members only)
A vote will take place on each proposal. All Rule proposals must be made in writing and submitted to headquarters by March 16th. Only current Alliance members, promoters, officials, school owners my make a rule change proposal. It will then be discussed in the meeting and taken to a vote. If passed, the rule proposal goes up to the next level to the State and Regional representatives and finally the Directors before being officially passed and implemented as a Alliance Rule.
RULE CHANGE PROPOSALS
The following rule changes proposals were submitted to the United States Karate Alliance for consideration. The proposals will be presented for a vote at the General Assembly Meeting on Thursday, March 28, 2019. The General Assembly will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Rosegarden room at the Marriott Houston Westchase. All current members may vote. If you are a member under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian may vote on your behalf. If you are unable to attend the General Assembly but would still like to vote, you may send an email with your name, your parent or legal guardian’s name if they are voting on your behalf, Alliance membership number and vote to uskaratealliance@gmail.com. The email vote must be sent prior to February 26, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. Please be sure and note the number of the rule change proposal and whether you vote yes or no.

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Tournament Promoters meeting
For all Alliance tournament promoters to discuss upcoming tournament dates for next tournament season.
All tournament promoters should attend and be involved in planning the event dates for the next tournament season.
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm : Score Keeper, Rules & Referee Certification
3:30 pm – 5:30 pm: Executive Board Meeting 2
8:30 pm – 10:00 pm: Alliance Hall of Fame meeting
