Honoring Grandmaster Robert A. Trias

The United States Karate Alliance will be celebrating its 30^th World Championships in July of 2019 and honoring the 30^th anniversary of the passing of Grandmaster Robert A. Trias.  We would like you to join us in honoring the Father of Karate in America.  After the death of Grandmaster Trias in 1989, two of his Regional Directors, Sensei James H. Hawkes and Dr. David Jordan formed the United States Karate Alliance to continue the traditions of the USKA in providing an organization and tournament circuit for all styles.  Sensei Hawkes and Dr. Jordan worked very hard to promote the USKA’s ideals until their passing in 2012 and 2016, respectively.  Please help us in honoring Grandmaster Trias and celebrating our 30^th World Championships by sending us pictures and memories of Grandmaster Trias and our first World Championships.   We will be posting the dates for the 30^th World Championships and the location soon.  Cathy Davis and Buster Cotten, National Directors and students of Sensei Hawkes and Dr. Jordan.
